You don't need to be an elite athlete. Most physically fit people can summit Kilimanjaro. We recommend cardiovascular training (hiking, running, cycling) at least 2-3 months before your climb. Our guides pace the ascent for optimal acclimatization.
The best climbing months are January-March and June-October. These periods offer the clearest skies and driest conditions. We operate year-round and can advise on conditions for any month.
Our summit success rate exceeds 95% on Machame and Lemosho routes. We use an acclimatization-first approach with "climb high, sleep low" scheduling that maximizes your chances of reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m).
All park fees, camping/hut fees, guides and porters, meals on the mountain, camping equipment, transfers from Arusha, and summit certificate. International flights and travel insurance are not included.
We provide sleeping bags, sleeping mats, and camping equipment. You'll need layered clothing, waterproof outer shell, sturdy hiking boots, and a daypack. We provide a detailed packing list upon booking.
